PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analytical battery capable of highly accurately analyzing an electrode reaction of a negative electrode active material and that of a positive electrode active material.SOLUTION: A first holder 12 and a second holder 16 constituting an analytical battery 10 include: substrates 24 and 30 in which through-holes 26 and 32 are formed; and transmission films 14 and 18 covering the through-holes 26 and 32 and transmitting electron beams, respectively, and the transmission films 14 and 18 are superimposed to face each other and a superimposed portion 20 is formed. In an observation window 36 formed by causing the through-holes 26 and 32 to face each other via the transmission films 14 and 18, a negative electrode active material 38 and a positive electrode active material 40 are placed to be spaced apart from each other and to contact an electrolyte. In the superimposed portion 20, a negative electrode charge collector 42 and a positive electrode charge collector 44 are electrically connected to the negative electrode active material 38 and the positive electrode active material 40, respectively. Cutoff films 46, 48 cutting off the contact of the negative electrode charge collector 42 or the positive electrode charge collector 44 with the electrolyte are provided at least one of the negative electrode charge collector 42 and the positive electrode charge collector 44. |
