<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily extend and smooth wrinkles formed in a center area of a support face when setting a material to be printed, and to suppress deviation from its smoothed state. <P>SOLUTION: This ink jet printing apparatus includes a set tray 3 having a support face 23 for setting a material T to be printed, and a printing head 13 for forming a print image by discharging ink on the material set in the set tray. The support face of the set tray includes a first friction section provided in a peripheral area 27 of the support face to apply a first static friction force to the set material, and a second friction section provided in a center area 25 of the support face to apply a second static friction force smaller than the first static friction force to the material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
