PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste gasification melting device and a waste gasification melting method, which are capable of reducing an amount of usage of coal coke and performing a stable operation under a less discharging amount of carbon dioxide.SOLUTION: A waste gasification melting furnace 1 comprises: a coal coke supply device 21; a low strength massive fuel supply device 22 having a post hot reaction strength index CSR (10 mm) is less than 10%; a blowing fuel supply device 24 connected to a main tuyere 5 for blowing oxygen-enriched air; and a fuel supply control device 25 for controlling a coal coke supply amount from the coal coke supply device 21, a low strength massive fuel supply amount from the low strength massive fuel supply device, and a blowing fuel supply amount from the blowing fuel supply device 24. The fuel supply control device 25 controls the low strength massive fuel supply amount and the blowing fuel supply amount so as to satisfy a relation of A/B<1, where A denotes a total sum of amount of oxygen required for combustion in respect to the supply amounts of the low strength massive fuel and blowing fuel and B denotes an amount of oxygen in oxygen enriched air blown from the main tuyere, and then reduces corresponding coal coke supply amount. |
