PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify a user about a state of use of a non-volatile memory.SOLUTION: A non-volatile memory monitoring device (200) includes: a measurement section (102) for counting the number of times that data is written on a non-volatile memory (14); a write history holding section (105) which holds the write counts in a plurality of measurement unit times different in length, by measurement unit time; a total write count holding section (106) which holds the total write counts on the non-volatile memory; a write limit count holding section (103) which holds a write limit count on the non-volatile memory; and an estimated life calculation section (101). The estimated life calculation section calculates, by measurement unit time, an estimated service life to be obtained when the write operation continues at a write frequency for each measurement unit time, on the basis of the write counts by unit time, which is held in the write history holding section, the total write counts held in the total write count holding section, and the limit count held in the write limit count holding section. |
