PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make unevenness in image quality as less as possible when performing marginless printing by spraying ink, during movement at constant speed of a carriage and also during acceleration/deceleration of the carriage.SOLUTION: When a boundary B1 between an acceleration/deceleration region T1 and a constant-speed region T2 is positioned further inside in a scanning direction than a boundary B2 between an edge region U1 and an inner region U2, at the time when an image is recorded on a region R11 ranging from an end E in the scanning direction of a recording sheet P to the boundary B1, only colored dye ink can be sprayed out of black pigmented ink and the colored dye ink and also only a large ink drop and an intermediate ink drop out of the large ink drop, the intermediate ink drop and a small ink drop can be sprayed, where delay time is set for timing for spraying ink. Further, when recording an image on a region R12 positioned further inside than the boundary B1, both black pigmented ink and colored dye ink can be sprayed and also any of the large ink drop, the intermediate ink drop and the small ink drop can be sprayed, where the delay time is not set for timing for spraying the ink. |
