PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hedge trimmer comprising a trigger which can be operated in the same operation feeling both on a front side and a rear side.SOLUTION: A hedge trimmer that trims a work object by a blade which makes reciprocal movement in a longitudinal direction comprises: a main handle 7 extending in a longitudinal direction; a first switch 10 which controls ON/OFF of the reciprocal movement of the blade; and a trigger 12 which is provided in an extending manner in a longitudinal direction corresponding to a holding range in a longitudinal direction of the main handle 7, and operates ON/OFF of the first switch 10. The trigger 12 is rotatably supported in a direction where a front side and a rear side move in a vertical direction, and when the front side or the rear side of the trigger 12 is operated to rotate, the first switch 10 is operated to ON by a displacement of an approximately central part of the trigger 12 with the rotation. |
