PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an easy removal work when removing a glove compartment box from a vehicle body stationary side member from a state in which the glove compartment box is assembled to the vehicle body stationary side member.SOLUTION: A glove compartment device for a passenger compartment in a vehicle is provided, the device including: a resin glove compartment box 11 pivotally supported by a vehicle body stationary side member 3 facing a passenger compartment 2 inside a vehicle body 1 so that it can rotate A, B; a stopper 24 protruded from an outer surface of a plate constituting the glove compartment box 11 and, when the glove compartment box 11 is about to rotate for more than a prescribed angle, abuts on contacted members 4b of the vehicle body stationary side member 3 to stop a further rotation; and a slit 26 formed in 18b that is a part of a surrounding of an adjacent part 18a of the stopper 24 in the plate. At least a part of the adjacent part 18a of the stopper 24 in the plate is protruded toward a glove compartment space 21 inside the glove compartment box 11. |
