PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generator that is able to efficiently generate power by using an electret material.SOLUTION: A power generator comprises: a plurality of electret electrodes 12, each of which is formed in a planar shape from an electret material and which are adjacently arranged along a first face with a space between them; and a plurality of counter electrodes 14 arranged opposite the electret electrodes 12 along a second face opposite the first face, and configured to move relative to the electret electrodes 12 along a direction parallel to the second face. Each of the electret electrodes 12 includes: a counter face that is opposite the second face; and a base surface opposite the counter face. An edge on the adjacent electret electrode side of the counter face is located further away from the adjacent electret than an edge on the adjacent electret electrode side of the base surface. |
