PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate an undesired competition of data between display drivers relative to a specific gradation signal electrode without forcing a new burden to a host device and without need for transferring sub-pixel data between the display drivers when implementing a dot inversion driving of a display panel in a zigzag way using a plurality of pieces of juxtaposed display drivers.SOLUTION: When a gradation signal output terminal at an ending point in a display driver at a front stage of a plurality of pieces of juxtaposed display drivers, and a gradation signal output terminal at a starting point in a display driver at a next stage are used in driving the same gradation signal electrode as with the display panel, an output of dummy data by one gradation signal output terminal, which mutually competes output timing of a gradation signal by the other gradation signal output terminal between both of the gradation signal output terminals is suppressed by a high impedance control at the gradation signal output terminal. |
