PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knitted fabric that exhibits excellent touch feeling, appropriate stretchability, quick drying property, air permeability and contact cooling sensation with a good balance in addition to cooling functionality that impedes transmission of UV rays and shields sunlight effectively.SOLUTION: There is provided a knitted fabric including polyester yarns, cellulosic spun yarns and polyurethane elastic yarns. The polyester yarn contains 1.0 to 5.0 mass% of titanium oxide and comprises modified cross-section polyester multifilaments having the degree of modified profile of 2.0 to 10.0 and has a total fineness of 56 to 110 dtex. The total yarn count of the cellulosic spun yarn is 70 to 120 yarn count, and the cellulosic spun yarn is smaller than the polyester yarn. The polyurethane elastic yarn has a total fineness of 16 to 33 dtex. The polyester yarn, the cellulosic spun yarn and polyurethane elastic yarn are knitted in a jersey stitch so that the knitted fabric comprises a layer that is mainly formed of the polyester yarn on one surface thereof and a layer that is mainly formed of the cellulosic spun yarn on the other surface thereof. The knitted fabric has a thickness of 0.1 to 0.6 mm. |
