TERMINAL STRUCTURE OF SUPERCONDUCTING CABLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal structure of a superconducting cable which is small-sized and also improves workability.SOLUTION: The terminal structure of the superconducting cable includes: a cable core exposed from an end of a heat insulation tube of the superconducting cable; a bushing through which a part of the core is inserted; a porcelain tube accommodating a normal temperature side area of the bushing; a normal conduction lead-out part to which a superconducting conductor layer provided in the core is connected in an end of the core protruding from a normal temperature side end portion of the bushing; an inner vacuum layer which is provided to extend from a gap between an inner circumference of the bushing and an outer circumference of the core through the inside of the porcelain tube to a normal temperature side for heat-insulating and holding a coolant that cools the superconducting conductor layer; a cable-side vacuum layer which is provided from an outer circumference of a cable-side area of the bushing to the end portion of the heat insulation tube to heat-insulate and hold the coolant that cools the superconducting conductor layer, and is provided while being overlapped with the inner vacuum layer; and a normal temperature side vacuum layer which heat-insulates and holds a coolant that cools a connection point, disposed outside of the porcelain tube, between the superconducting conductor layer and the normal conduction lead-out part.
