Disclosed are a method and a device for processing a message of an IPTV. The method comprises: acquiring various EPG editions which simultaneously exist; according to the various EPG editions, acquiring one or more corresponding view types, wherein a group of EPG editions to be processed in the same manner are divided into one view type; and in accordance with the one or more view types, processing request messages of the various EPG editions. By means of the present invention, the problem in the relevant art that a service cannot be processed normally due to the batching service upgrade of the IPTV is solved, thereby providing a technical basis for achieving the batching service upgrade of an IPTV system, so that the losses of benefits and operation of an operator caused by the upgrade can be decreased and reduced to the maximum extent, and therefore, a favourable service experience is ensured for a user. |
