The present invention aims to provide an information processing apparatus for a ring rolling device which prevents a defective product caused by a selection of a wrong device by allowing a worker inserting a material into a ring rolling device to select a product to be produced. To achieve this, the present invention provides the information processing apparatus for a ring rolling device applied to a ring rolling device. The information processing apparatus comprises: a control unit controlling an operation of the ring rolling device; a process computer networked with the control unit to exchange information; a mobile terminal mounted on a moving object; and a wireless network transmitting information by connecting the process computer and the mobile terminal. After the moving object mounts a material preheated in a heating furnace on the ring rolling device, the mobile terminal receives a product ID for a corresponding material, and transmits the same to the process computer. |
