The invention relates to coating insulation panels which improve the thermal and acoustic insulation capacity, and improve the resistance to external climatological agents, and which can be installed directly in the application site without having to carry out additional operations, wherein said insulating elements are formed by polymeric foam panels coated on one or both sides by an amalgam composed of binding agents and filling materials, such as cork, wherein the densities and thicknesses of the polystyrene and of the cork layer vary according to the specific requirements of each case, and wherein a metal mesh can be added between the cork and polystyrene layers in order to increase the resilience and strength of the panel. |
