<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cover glass using strengthened glass as a substrate, capable of easily and efficiently disposing a cured resin for protection to a side face at an outer periphery of the substrate to have a good quality, and also to provide a method for forming an outer peripheral side face part of cover glass.SOLUTION: In cover glass 1, a substrate 10 uses strengthened glass having strengthening treatment on a surface, and a cured resin 17a for protection is disposed to a side face at an outer periphery 1a of the substrate 10. In a cross-sectional shape in a direction orthogonal to the outer periphery of the substrate 10, the side face at the outer periphery of the substrate 10 consists of a side face of a large-sized first recess 15a formed by etching to recess from one side of the substrate 10; and a side face of a small-sized second recess 15b formed by etching to recess from the other side of the substrate 10.</p> |
