<p>The present invention addresses the problem of providing a drill configured so that the electromagnet for fixing and holding the drill body and the motor for rotating the drilling tool are driven with a battery. To solve the problem, the drill (10) is provided with: a main body (12); an electromagnet (18), which is mounted on the main body and is for fixing and holding the main body; a drill-driving section (14), which has a motor (48) for rotating the drilling tool (44) and is mounted so as to move in a reciprocating manner with respect to the main body to cause the drilling tool to approach or retract from the workpiece on which the drilling is being performed by the drill; a drive control circuit, which is provided on the main body and drives and controls the motor and electromagnet; and a battery (16), which is connected to the drive control circuit. The drill is configured so that the motor and the electromagnet use the battery as the power source and are driven and controlled by the drive control circuit.</p> |
