<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover with a click elastic contact body such that the click elastic body is made compact and the installation space of the click elastic contact body in a rotary electronic component is reducible, and a method of manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: A cover 150 with a click elastic contact body comprises a click elastic contact body 100 and a cover 130. The click elastic contact body 100 is constituted by providing an elastic contact part 103 which comes into elastic contact with a click elastic contact part 59 of a rotary body 50 to give a click feeling to an intermediate part of an arm part 101 made of an elastic plate, and providing fitting parts 105 to both ends of the arm part 101. Both the fitting parts 105 and the elastic contact part 103 are substantially on the same straight line, and the arm part 101 is vertically curved to flex in a direction in which the elastic contact part 103 moves up and down.
