PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To comparatively-easily switch a gear change range while securing safety.SOLUTION: A vehicle shift device comprises an operation member 10, and a main body part 11 which supports the operation member 10 so as to be turnable and displaceable to a vehicle fore-and-aft direction from a position after the turn, and makes the operation member 10 after the turn and the displacement automatically recover to a home position. When the operation member 10 turns from the home position, the vehicle shift device switches a range to a neutral range, when the operation member 10 is displaced to a vehicle front side after the turn in a prescribed direction, switches the range to a reverse range, and when the operation member is displaced to a vehicle rear side after turning to a direction opposite to the prescribed direction, switches the range to a drive range. |
