INKJET INK AND PRINTING METHOD USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet ink that can be printed with a high print density while suppressing a strike-through phenomenon on a thin wood-free paper base for general printing, and a printing method using the ink.SOLUTION: The inkjet ink comprises at least two types of carbon black, a polymer dispersant, and water. At least one of the two types of carbon black is dispersed by the polymer dispersant. The polymer dispersant is a polymer dispersant (copolymer) containing monomers described below in a copolymer composition. The monomers are: monomer (A) that is an unsaturated monomer having an alkyl chain having 6 or more carbon atoms; monomer (B) that is an unsaturated monomer having an aromatic ring; and monomer (C) that is an unsaturated monomer having a carboxyl group. At least one of the two types of carbon black is a self-dispersible carbon black having a water-soluble functional group on a surface thereof. The total of the two types of carbon black is 5 wt.% or more of the whole ink.
