<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission device which improves the design flexibility of a layout, while enabling the output of rotation driving force to the outside.SOLUTION: A transmission device 30 is equipped with a housing H, a planetary mechanism P1, an input shaft N, an output shaft T, a brake B1, and an external output gear 91. The brake B1 has a friction material 81, a piston member 82, and an actuator portion 83; and brakes rotations of any element of the planetary mechanism P1. The external output gear 91 is disposed between the friction material 81 and the actuator portion 83 in an axial direction. The piston member 82 has an opening portion 82c formed over a predetermined angle range around a rotation axis within a range in the rotation axis in which the external output gear is disposed.</p> |
