<p>The invention provides a pneumatic tire capable of improving performance of ice roads and snow roads in a balanced mode. A tire tread portion (2) of the pneumatic tire is provided with a pair of main central grooves (3, 3) and multiple central cross grooves (8). Multiple central pattern blocks (9) of similar trapezoidal shapes are divided due to a first central cross groove (8A) and a second central cross groove (8B) which is opposite to the first central cross groove (8A) in the tilting direction and tilts at an angle. A ground plane in a normal load-bearing state at least comprises the adjoining central pattern blocks (9) in a circumferential surface of the tire. The central pattern blocks (9) comprise short edges (11) which face towards the central grooves (3) and are short in length in the circumferential surface of the tire and long edges (12) facing towards the reverse sides of the central grooves (3) compared with the short edges (11). The short edges (11) and the long edges (12) are provided with concave portions (14) which are recessed towards a tire equator (C).</p> |
