A display device includes a display panel, a backlight unit, and a color conversion layer. The display panel includes a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix form in a first direction and a second direction which are perpendicular to each other. The backlight unit provides first light to the display panel. The color conversion layer receives the first light and emits the first light or/and second light. The color conversion layer includes a first sub color conversion layer receiving the first light and emitting the second light having a wavelength different from that of the first light, and a second sub color conversion layer separated from the first sub color conversion layer, receiving the first light and emitting the first light. Viewed in a thickness direction of the display panel, a width of the first sub color conversion layer and a width of the second sub color conversion layer may be different from each other.
