The present invention relates to a liquid crystal composition, which can improve a response speed, and a liquid crystal display device using the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the liquid crystal composition includes at least one among a first compound, represented by Chemical Formula (1), a second compound, represented by Chemical Formula (2), a third compound, represented by Chemical Formula (3), and a fourth compound, represented by Chemical Formula (4). Herein, R′ is an alkyl group or an alkoxy group in the Chemical Formula (1). R and R′ in the Chemical Formula (2) are respectively the alkyl group or the alkoxy group. |
