In the present invention, disclosed is a surface treatment apparatus for a lead terminal of a secondary battery. The surface treatment apparatus is a surface treatment apparatus for a lead terminal of a secondary battery comprising: an unwinder and a rewinder arranged at both ends of the apparatus to supply a base material continuously; a plasma treatment device accommodating and treating the base material between the unwinder and the rewinder; and a reaction vessel for maintaining a vacuum state for plasma treatment, and accommodating raw gas to be plasmatized. The unwinder, the rewinder and the plasma treatment device interposed therebetween are accommodated together in the reaction vessel. According to the present invention, provided is a surface treatment apparatus for a lead terminal for improving bonding strength between a lead terminal which is withdrawn to the outside from an electrode assembly, and a lead terminal film which is attached to the top of the lead terminal for sealing.
