The present invention relates to a sterilizer for a mobile terminal and having a charging function. The invention provides the sterilizer for a mobile terminal and having a charging function wherein the sterilizer is able to sterilize as well as charge a mobile terminal and in addition, the sterilizer is miniaturized and therefore, an ease of portability is improved. To this end, the present invention comprises: a sterilization unit configured of a UV light source and having a size corresponding to a mobile terminal and capable of sterilizing the mobile terminal; an operation unit for receiving a user choice for starting or closing an operation of the sterilization unit; a secondary battery capable of being charged by an external power source; a power unit for receiving an external power source from an input terminal unit and for transforming thereof to a voltage for charging the secondary battery and driving the sterilization unit, and for outputting the transformed power source to an output terminal unit so as to charge the mobile terminal; an operation display unit configured of one multi-color LED and for displaying an operation state of the sterilization unit and a charge state of the secondary battery; and a control unit for determining whether a voltage of the secondary battery is appropriate through the power unit and if determined as appropriate, controlling to apply a power source of the secondary battery as a drive voltage of the sterilization unit and for controlling a color of the operation display unit, or an on and off thereof depending on the operation state of the sterilization unit and the charge state of the secondary battery. |
