<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel mode switching switch without enlarging and complicating a switch unit. <P>SOLUTION: This control device of a small vehicle for switching a travel mode by a mode switching switch provided at a switch unit 15 of a handlebar. The control device comprises: a starter switch 22 provided at the switch unit 15, for starting an engine; and an engine start request determination means for determining whether a driver requests the start of the engine.
