The purpose of the present invention is to provide a redundant air supply mechanism without requiring a reserve air supply device. An undulating gate-type breakwater causes a gate body (11), comprising gate body blocks (12a - 14a, 12b - 14b) disposed in parallel in the width direction of a waterway, to rise by buoyancy due to air supplied to air chambers (12aa - 14aa, 12ba - 14ba) formed in each gate body block (12a - 14a, 12b - 14b). Air supplying devices (20a, 20b), that are disposed in a machine room (19a, 19b) provided on the right bank and left bank of the waterway and that supply air to the air chambers (12aa - 14aa, 12ba - 14ba) via air supply piping (16a - 18a, 16b - 18b) that passes through the interior of an enclosure (15) are connected to each other by pressure accumulating piping (23) in the enclosure (15). An on-off valve (24a, 24b) is provided on the side of each air supply device (20a, 20b) of the pressure accumulating piping (23).
