PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restore a lifting plate to a normal state from a state of being biased to a feed roller in a device using a low-power stepping motor.SOLUTION: An image formation device comprises: a liftable lifting plate 16 on which a sheet material is placed; a lifting plate lift control cam 19 for lifting the lifting plate 16; a feed roller 6 which is in contact with the sheet material placed on the lifting plate 16 lifted by the lifting plate lift control cam 19, and feeds the contacting sheet material by rotating; a stepping motor 21 for driving the lifting plate lift control cam 19 and the feed roller 6 by rotating; and a control unit 50 for controlling the stepping motor 21 so as to be rotated at a first rotation frequency. The feed roller 6 is pressed by the lifting plate 16 or the sheet material placed on the lifting plate 16. In a case in which the feed roller 6 cannot be rotated, the control unit 50 controls (S109) the stepping motor 21 so as to be rotated at a second rotation frequency which is smaller than the first rotation frequency (S102). |
