摘要 <p>PURPOSE:An adsorbent of aluminate salt is used to remove polar compounds and unsaturated compounds containing ripening accelerator as ethylene that are evolved from vegetables to high extent even in the presence of water vapor, thus keeping food fresh for a long time. CONSTITUTION:As an adsorbent, is used an aluminate salt adsorbent (e.g., reaction products between various kinds of aluminates as sodium aluminate, and silicate, iron, zinc, or alkaline earth metal salt, alone or combination thereof with another adsorbent as activated carbon, silica gel or activated alumina). Vegetables are stored in the presence of said adsorbent.</p>
