The present invention relates to a damping force adjusting damper including: a cylinder (2) in which a working fluid flows; a piston (3) fitted into the cylinder to be able to slide; piston rods (4, 5) connected to the piston; and a damping force generating unit (9) generating a damping force by controlling the flow of the working fluid generated by the sliding of the piston. Multiple ring-shaped members (18, 14, 3) include a valve body (18) of a pilot type damping valve and a member (14) for forming a pilot chamber (22). The ring-shaped members (18, 14, 3) are fixed to a rod-shaped member (5) penetrating the ring-shaped member. A space (C) is formed between one of the ring-shaped members (18,14, 3) and the rod-shaped member (5). At least one among a filter (35) and a fixing orifice (36) is arranged in the space. |
