The present invention is: an elongated gas barrier laminate resulting from laminating a functional layer at one side of a substrate and laminating a smoothing layer and a gas barrier layer in the given sequence at the other side of the substrate, and characterized by the coefficient of static friction of the surface of the functional layer at the reverse side from the substrate side and the surface of the smoothing layer at the reverse side from the substrate side being 0.35-0.80; and a method for producing same. By means of the present invention, provided are: an elongated gas barrier laminate having superior workability when being rolled up into a roll shape and when being fed out from the roll; and a method for producing same.
