Proposed are an electricity transaction planning assistance system and an electricity transaction planning assistance method, whereby it is possible to maximize the revenues from electricity transactions by reducing risks associated with changes in market prices and in offered amounts of electricity. This electricity transaction planning assistance system, which creates an electricity transaction plan, is characterized by being provided with: a possible electricity consumption reduction amount calculation unit which calculates a possible amount of electricity consumption reduction; a market information acquisition unit which acquires information about a market price and an offered amount of electricity; a transaction planning rule which defines a threshold value for the offered amount of electricity, wherein the threshold value serves as a measure for determining whether or not the offered amount of electricity is sufficient, and hence serves as a condition for determining whether or not to purchase electricity from the electricity transaction market; and a transaction planning unit which reduces the threshold value for the offered amount of electricity by an amount equal to the possible amount of electricity consumption reduction, and calculates the amount of electricity to be purchased from the electricity transaction market, on the basis of the reduced threshold value for the offered amount of electricity, the market price, and the transaction planning rule. |
