<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas adsorption apparatus that can be operated in an energy-saving manner by appropriately reducing a purge rate for regenerating an adsorbent, and a method for purging the gas adsorption apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The gas adsorption apparatus is configured to continuously obtain a product gas regulated in gas components by alternately supplying compressed gas to two adsorption columns 10, 20 filled with adsorbents, to utilize the adsorbing effect of the adsorbents, and alternately purging the two adsorption columns to regenerate the adsorbents.
