PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing structure for a hollow box-shaped housing that can alleviate the dimensional precision of sealing a housing constituting a hollow box-shaped housing, and suppress an effect on the dimension and shape of an internal space of the hollow box-shaped housing, and to provide a method of forming the sealing structure. ! SOLUTION: A hollow box-shaped housing 3 before sealing is formed by one housing (upper box 1) opened at one surface thereof and another housing (lower box 2) fitted in the opening of the former housing. An internal space 31 before sealing is sealed by a hot melt material 4 under the state that the internal space 31 is formed.
