The stator (1) has a winding system (8) arranged in grooves (6), where the winding system has concentrated coils that are attached at a spool (7). The coils are differently provided in the grooves at coil sides, and a phase separator (9) is provided between the coil sides. The separator forms an overlapping of the spool and the separator in the area of a radial flange of the spool by corresponding spool recesses. The radial flange is provided at a groove base, and the separator engages in the area of the groove base in the recesses at a cover of the stator.
