OPTICAL CONNECTOR

An optical connector that can be easily produced. A first holding section (4) is provided at a fixation section (3) at which an optical fiber wire (15) is fixed, and the first holding section (4) holds one end of an optical component (9) such that the one end is movable in the direction of the optical axis of the optical fiber wire (15). The optical component (9) has an aligning section (91) for receiving an end of the optical fiber wire (15). The first holding section (4) and a second holding section (5) are connected together by a pair of springs (6, 6) capable of extending and retracting in the optical axis direction. The second holding section (5) holds the other end of the optical component such that the other end is movable in the optical axis direction. An elastic engagement section (7) for connecting the second holding section (5) and the optical component (9) held by the first and second holding sections (4, 5) is provided at the second holding section (5).
