An optical-path conversion relay optical connector includes two adapter portions in each of which a plug connected to an axial end of an optical fiber core is fitted. The adapter portions are coupled together so as to be substantially orthogonal to each other at a connecting corner portion where an optical-path conversion optical element is disposed. The optical-path conversion optical element having two connecting surfaces substantially orthogonal to each other with a full reflection surface angled at approximately 45 degrees to each connecting surface, and lenses respectively formed on the connecting surfaces. The optical-path conversion optical element is held by a holder portion rotatably attached to the adapter portions, and the holder portion rotatably holds the optical-path conversion optical element. |
