SECURITY ASSEMBLY FOR AN ATM

A security assembly (12) is disposed in a position between the outer door (6) and cash cassette (10) of an ATM (Automatic Telling Machine) to prevent access to cash cassette (10) even if outer door (6) is opened. The security assembly also comprises a projection plate (24) and an interlock assembly having a bolt portion (30) to interfere with the outer door (6) of the ATM (2) and help to prevent outer door (6) being opened by unauthorised persons.
