METHOD FOR REMOTE CONTROLLING LOCAL NETWORK DEVICES AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

A remote control method for local network devices and a device therefor are provided to transmit commands to the local network devices while connection is formed for control of the local network devices, thus it is possible to control the local network devices whose access is blocked from the outside, in a remote place. A connection request is periodically received from a local network device located within a local network whose direct access is blocked from the outside(710). When connection is formed between a server located outside the local network and the local network device by reception of the connection request, it is searched whether a command to be transmitted to the local network device exists(720). If so, the command is transmitted to the local network device while the connection is formed to control the local network device(730).
