<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device, which discriminates images of bar-codes formed of fluorescent material, codes having information such as a two-dimensional code, and marks, with a relatively simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: An image discriminator discriminating images of a plurality of marks which are excited by light and formed of a material generating invisible light of a wavelength differing from that of the light on a discrimination object comprises: a light emitting unit irradiating the object with the light; an image receiving unit receiving the plurality of marks on the subject to obtain image data; a data processing unit processing the image data; a display unit displaying at least one of the image data obtained by the image receiving unit, the image data processed by the processing unit and a plurality of items of text data obtained by processing the image data through the processing unit; and/or an output unit outputting data obtained by the processing unit.
