PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tomographic image of a subject from X-ray transmission data collected by exposing the subject to a plurality of types of X-rays with different energy values while scanning and to provide a high-quality tomographic image with suppressed dispersion of S/N of the tomographic image. SOLUTION: This tomographic X-ray equipment is provided with an X-ray tube 101, a power supply 102 supplying an X-ray tube voltage consisting of a plurality of types of voltages with mutually different amplitude values and an X-ray tube current to the X-ray tube, and a detector 103 outputting a signal of an electric quantity according to the energy of X-ray. In this equipment, control means 102 and 106 control at least one of the X-ray tube voltage or the X-ray tube current so that numbers of respective photons exposed from the X-ray tube 101 are considered to be substantially equal. A tomographic image generation means 105 generates the tomographic image of the subject reflecting the plurality of X-ray energy values using the signal output from the detector 103.
