PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera pedestal capable of installing a camera with a theft prevention tag at its bottom in a stable form. SOLUTION: This camera pedestal 100 is used for installing the camera 10 in a state mounted with a lens body tube 10a on a camera body 10b; and is provided with a front face plate 12 erected on a bottom 11 and having a notch portion 12a for supporting the lens body tube 10a at its upper part, and a pair of bottom upper plates 13a and 13b erected on the bottom 11 and supporting the camera body 10b. The bottom upper plates 13a and 13b are so disposed on the bottom 11 that an interval between the camera body contact portions of the bottom upper plates 13a and 13b coming into contact with the camera body 10b and a lens tube body contact portion of the notch 12a coming into contact with the lens body tube 10a is narrower than the depth of the camera 10 including the length of the lens body tube 10a in the state of mounted with the lens body tube 10a; and the interval between the mutual camera body contact portions is spaced at an interval narrower than the width of the camera body 10b.
