PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a book block carrier system which can take over and arrange a book block supplied from a bringing-in apparatus by raising no problem in high reliability. SOLUTION: The book block carrier system has a multiple book block sandwiching apparatus 1 which moves a closed circulation track continuously. The book block sandwiching apparatus 1 has a supporting frame 2 supported to a guide portion to support an inside clamp jaw 3, a tumbler frame 4 supported so that it may hang down from the shaft 6 of the supporting frame 2 to support an outside clamp jaw 5, a spring member 13 for producing a clamp force between the clamp jaws 3 and 5, and block stoppers 30 and 40 for arranging the book block supplied from a carrying apparatus.
