METHOD FOR EXAMINING INFLAMMATORY DISEASE ON BASIS OF POLYMORPHISM OF INTERLEUKIN-1 RECEPTOR 2 GENE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for accurately examining the crisis risk and crisis presence or absence of an inflammatory disease such as periodontal disease, and to provide an examination reagent used for the method.

SOLUTION: This method for examining an inflammatory disease comprises analyzing a genetic polymorphism existing on an interleukin-1 receptor 2 gene and then examining the inflammatory disease on the analysis result. Since the crisis risk and crisis presence or absence of the inflammatory disease such as periodontal disease can early be judged by the present examination method, the early discovery of the diseases and the rapid determination of a treating policy are possible.
