<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To pro vide a fluid shut off device suitably shutting off flow of fluid in a conduit even if the conduit has a rectangular section or the like. <P>SOLUTION: This fluid shut off device 1 is provided with a sack shape balloon 2 capable of expanding in the conduit 100 in which the fluid flows until the same touches an inner wall surface 100a of the conduit 100, and a membrane sheet 3 deforming by action of of the fluid 100 and filling a gap between the expanded balloon 2 and the inner wall surface 100a of the conduit 100. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
