<p>A name of up to 20 bytes is generated by using date information recognizable by a user such as an imaging date and a generation date associated with a file and a directory and an ID code including time information for identifying the processing time and the time information is set at the upper-node side bit of the ID code. Thus, it is possible to generate a name which is not easily overlapped with another as compared to the case using only the time and it is possible to correlate the time sequence with the lexicographic order, thereby facilitating the file management. Moreover, as compared to UUID, the name may be made shorter. Accordingly, it is possible to easily use the name and reduce the load on the name generation device.</p> |
