<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biodegradable medical device with enhanced mechanical property and/or pharmacological function. <P>SOLUTION: A new class of blends between a biodegradable polymer and bioceramics is used for application to the medical device. Biodegradable nature of the materials can be enhanced while enhancing the strength of the device by changing a mixing amount, and an improved stent, distal embolus preventing device, or the like is obtained by processing the mixture.
