<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve tracking data rate, and to improve tracking accuracy, relative to a preferentially tracked target, in a radar device for transmitting the radio waves from a polyhedral antenna, and performing sector scanning. <P>SOLUTION: In a constitution for acquiring observation data from the whole azimuth by arranging four antennas at 90°intervals in the four directions, for performing radiation of a radio wave into the space and reception of a reflected radio wave from the space, while performing reciprocal scanning by a directional beam (antenna beam #1-#4) in each angle range in charge, the overlapped azimuth angle width ofΔθshown by a shaded part is provided by setting the monitoring range by each antenna beam at 90°+Δθ, and an antenna device is mechanically driven so that a center azimuth of the overlapped azimuth angle domainΔθis an azimuth specified by an operator or an azimuth of a tracking predicted position, and sector scanning is performed based on the state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
