IMAGE FORMING METHOD, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND ORGANIC PHOTORECEPTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method and an image forming apparatus in which fogging liable to occur in a counter developing system and occurrence of image unevenness due to density lowering of a peripheral part are prevented, and by which an electrophotographic image having high image density and good color reproducibility can be formed, and to provide an organic photoreceptor used in the image forming method.

SOLUTION: The image forming method comprises: forming an electrostatic latent image on the organic photoreceptor; forming a developing brush with a developing agent containing toner on a cylindrical developing sleeve; and bringing the developing brush in contact with the organic photoreceptor so as to visualize the electrostatic latent image into a toner image. The organic photoreceptor has a photosensitive layer on a conductive support member by way of an intermediate layer containing inorganic particles which have a number average primary order particle size of 3-200 nm in a binder resin, and the electrostatic latent image is visualized into the toner image while rotating the developing sleeve in a direction counter to the rotating direction of the organic photoreceptor.
