The connector piece (2) for fluid-tight joint of at least two pipes (3, 4) comprises insertable connector bodies (7, 8) which are provided with heating elements (18, 19) capable of producing plastic welded joints with the pipes. An independent claim is also included for a pipe joint produced by means of the proposed connector piece.
